Cookies and advertising identifiers
We plan to use Google AdSense. Google advertising tags are not currently enabled in this website build. The following describes the advertising technologies that may be used when advertising is activated. Publishing ads.txt identifies an authorized seller; the file itself does not display ads or set advertising cookies.
When ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may place and read cookies on your browser and use web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to deliver advertisements, measure performance, and detect fraud. Advertising cookies can allow Google and its partners to personalize ads based on visits to this website and other websites, subject to applicable consent requirements and your choices.
Advertising choices
You can manage personalized Google advertising in My Ad Center and consult participating providers through YourAdChoices. Browser settings also allow you to remove or block cookies and local storage. Blocking cookies does not necessarily remove advertisements. Theme preferences stored locally remain on the device until you change or clear them.

Consent and future changes
Before activating advertising that requires consent, we will implement the applicable consent controls. Personalized ads for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland require a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the TCF. We will update this policy and provide a way to revisit choices when those controls are introduced. This page is a disclosure, not a consent mechanism.
Contact information and retention
If you email contact@sandustry.app, your email address, message, and any attachments are processed to answer the enquiry, investigate corrections, or handle rights requests. Do not send passwords or payment information. Correspondence may be handled by email service providers and retained while needed for the enquiry, follow-up, security, or applicable obligations; retention depends on that purpose rather than an indefinite public archive. Contact the same address to ask about or request deletion of correspondence. Hosting logs are governed by the hosting service retention settings and applicable operational requirements.
No account or profile
This wiki has no user accounts and no database of player profiles. You can read the guides and use local search without signing in or sending a search query to a third-party search service.
Device-local settings
The theme control stores the key sandustry-theme in your browser's local storage so the site can remember light or dark mode on that device. Search runs locally against the wiki's bundled article index; the site does not keep a search history.
Hosting and security logs
Like most hosted websites, the hosting and security services may process ordinary request logs such as an IP address, browser details, requested path, timestamp, and error or abuse signals. Those services may retain logs under their own operational and security policies.
Official links and trailer
Links to the official Sandustry Wiki, Steam, Discord, and YouTube leave this fan site and are governed by those services. The trailer is not embedded or autoplayed: YouTube loads or opens only after you take an explicit action to watch it.
You can continue with the official Wiki or the official Steam listing.
